Crazy December
It's been so crazy lately but let me catch you up October and November seem like such a blur and this month is speeding by! In October I went to MO for a week for fall break and pent some much needed recoup time with the family they always seem to repair all the damage I seem to cause myself while away and working. In November the Family came down here for thanksgiving and boy was that fun! We had a grand feast and I smoked the turkey! Then we shopped for two days straight my feet were dead by monday and I was glad to go back to work just so I could rest my feet! The last couple of weeks I have been busily working on Christmas presents and have accomplished quite a lot. On monday I started this awesome hat it is so much fun! Ive started felting the little flowers and leaves and its awesome! Tonight for dinner I made this turkey and it was amazing I was happy it turned out because its only my second time making a whole turkey!

Over the river and through the woods...
Its been a crazy couple of days and I finally have a moment to sit and breath with out feeling like Im forgetting something. On Thursday I was so busy I thought my brain might explode from too much use ha ha ( it survived ) I started my morning by getting the kids ready for school and off on the bus then I decided i needed to pack for the weekend over at my parents I put some laundry in the washer and was getting ready to shower when my boss calls me up and asks if I can make potato salad and cucumber salad for her labor day work picnic and also I need to pick the kids up from school at 11:30 this is at 7:30 in the am I work fast and get the salads made then finish my laundry, shower ,and finish packing this all took longer than expected so I ended up getting the kids late and not getting the dishes washed and basically forgetting half of my clothes ha ha! But I got out of the house, delivered the children and the salads, and headed over to Sweet Peas house. I took her to the store because her car is out of commission right now we ran a few errands and then dropped her back home and I was on my way to MO. It was a nice quite uneventful trip and a welcome moment to relax a little and think. I walked in the door and was attacked by hugs ( its good to be loved )! I was just in time for scripture study and then we all headed to bed. Friday we all got up had breakfast and headed out to do errands I needed to do a few things in town and then we went to the mall. Lotus and the blossoms joined us. I ended up finding the cutest pair of shoes that I tried on and ended up buying and wearing the rest of the day! We were at the mall so long dad was off work when we got done so we all went and saw a movie together. Then we headed our tired feet home! Saturday was another busy day for me I met Lotus in town and we spent hours at the fabric store then we headed home when i arrived home my car sputtered and stop and then I couldnt start it so Giant Oak plugged my battery up to the battery charger to see if I had a bad battery and then I pretty much forgot about it. I spent time with the family and made delicious homemade pizza! Sunday was rather uneventful with 3 hours of church a nice little nap and then Lotus and I prepared a deliciously strange meal of shrimp primavera made with spaghetti squash, cooked cabbage and onions and pan fried green beans everything tasted pretty good. Dad figured out that it was my battery cable that was the problem and cleaned all the corrosion off and then it started right up! Im so glad! Monday I basically lazed around relaxing until around 4 when it was time to head back to TN the trip home was once again uneventful ( the way I like it when im driving) I arrived home around 9 unloaded my car, layed down on my bed and was out! It was a long exciting weekend and I was exhausted!

To find the library.
I got up super early on Monday and got the kids off to school then I piddled around a bit and went back to bed and took a short nap. When I woke up I decided it was a day for adventure! So I googled the directions for the library and headed out, the drive was gorgeous and it smelled so fresh outside! I found the library checked it out found out I would need a few things I didn't have to get a library card and on I went exploring. I came to a light that said Paris left so I headed to Paris I saw painted quilt blocks on the sides of several buildings I was intrigued. when I came upon the welcome center for Stewart county I decided to stop and see if that had info on the interesting art work I saw on the way. They had some different things out on display that told the story of Stewart county it was so fun to find out new things. I found out the quilt blocks were a national civil war quilt trail I have it in my plans to follow the trail and check it out! And eventually I will go to Paris and check it out lol even if it is in Tennessee!

Such a busy day!
Today started out so calm and quiet I woke up all alone to the sun shining in my windows I got up and opened the curtains wide took a deep breath and then, I got a text from Sweet pea and a minute later 2 from Lotus. They were dying to get out of the house and they didn't have enough room in Sweet pea's car so I drove 26 miles in to get them we drove around to some shops for about 2 hours then I had to rush 26 miles home to get the kids from school. The flowers and their blossoms came out to the house with me and we spent a couple hours at my place then back in the car 26 miles back to Sweet pea's house about 5 miles from Sweet pea's house J. started puking, right into the bag with my laptop and our swimming suits and all I could do was tell him it was ok and we would be there soon. As soon as we got there I pulled him out and then rescued my laptop I sent him in with Lotus for a bath, the cloths to be washed, and I proceeded to clean my laptop and then scrub out my car and his booster. When the clothes were clean we all went for a nice swim aaaaahhhh. Then back to the rush. Down to the base to meet the kid's mom for a little shoe shopping and dinner then back to Sweet pea's house to drop off a little onsie for Lotus's youngest then back 26 miles home baths and bed for the kids and then silence, sigh. On another note I totally found a mini fridge for 40 dollars cheaper than the one I was looking at and its the same one! So of course I bought it on the spot. it has made a nice little edition to my tiny little kitchen space. I feel like a little homemaker ha ha!

More big changes
So much has happened since I last posted. In march I moved back home to MO to help lil' black orchid prepare for her mission and also help Lotus with her three little blossoms, if you could die from cuteness I would be soooo dead! The youngest is the happiest blossom you have ever met and she is always smiling just makes your heart melt! In June I headed down to Tennesse to house sit for sweet pea, while I was there I made some friends at church who ended up finding me a live in nanny job. I moved in officially on the 27th of July its crazy and new and the kids and I are still getting used to each other.
Im trying to make use of my space with my first paycheck I plan on getting a mini fridge and most likely a toaster oven then Im going to build a garment rack so I can hang up my clothes I really like the wooden ones but the ones made out of pipe are super cool too. Then I can begin to organize my living area. Im super excited for all this change which is new for me since I dont usually enjoy change ha, but with so much happening in my life lately this change is exciting!
